Meet Dr. Morgan Trahant Lang
Dr. Lang is passionate about being an orthodontist. It is an honor to help you and your child achieve the smile you have always dreamed of. Upbeat and enthusiastic, Dr. Lang’s personality is infectious and will surely rub off on you and your family. Dr. Morgan Trahant Lang became the first female orthodontist in Northwest Louisiana when she took over Dr. H.O. Blackwood's practice in 2012, her childhood orthodontist and mentor. They say, “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” And that's certainly true for Dr. Lang!

Travels to over 20 schools in Northwest Louisiana to educate children about the importance of oral health care and nutrition
Devoted philanthropist for charitable organizations like The Gingerbread House, Susan G. Komen, St. Jude, Red Nose Day, and local school events.
Active member of the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Dr. Lang loves embracing her playful side
During college, Dr. Lang worked at Walt Disney World where she participated in the Walt Disney World College Program. It was at this program where she met her charming husband, Eric.
She has participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for over 10 years as a clown. She has found herself working alongside celebrities including Richard Simmons, Maroon 5 and local celebrities from the cast of Duck Dynasty.
Dr. Lang won the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy when she danced in her friends honor at a local Dance for the Cure contest benefiting the Susan G. Komen foundation. Raising over $10,000, Dr. Lang dusted off her dance shoes and was able to make an unforgettable night for her friends Crystal and Rachel that battled breast cancer, and won!

Dr. Lang and her husband Eric have two young children, and a frenchie named, Blueberry. You may see Blueberry make an appearance in the office from time to time. Blueberry looks just like a real-life version of our office mascots, Bracket and Bracey.
